'Reach Out' (also known as 'Reach Out (and Touch Me)' is the forthcoming single from Hilary Duff's new Greatest Hits Collection titled 'Best of Hilary Duff' to be released November 4th. It was produced by One Republic's Ryan Tedder and written by Hilary Duff and Kara DioGuardi. It contains a sample from 'Personal Jesus' by Depeche Mode. It features new up and coming rapper The Prophet. The song was initially performed on Duff's Dignity tour in 2007. Joe Bermudez released an official remix on his MySpace spage on September 15th. The remix was also created with Chico Bennet,a producer on Duff's 4th album,Dignity. There's currently speculation that the official release of the single will not be the remix but the original. The leaked remix samples Soft Cell's 1981 version of 'Tainted Love', previously sampled by Rihanna on her 2006 #1 song 'SOS'. The music video for 'Reach Out' was shot in Los Angeles from September 13-14th. The video will premier on MTV in early October. This compilation will mark the end of the artist’s contract with music label Hollywood Records. The album will feature 2 new tracks such as 'Reach Out' and 'Holiday'.
