'I Wan'na Be Like You (The Monkey Song)' is a song from Walt Disney's 1967 film, 'The Jungle Book'. The song was sung by Louis Prima and written by songwriters Robert and Richard Sherman. According to Richard Sherman on the Platinum Edition DVD and on the soundtrack, the "scat dialogue" between Baloo and King Louie was the result of two recording sessions. Louis Prima recorded first, and when Phil Harris decided not to imitate Prima's recording, he made up his own. The Jonas Brothers, who have done several Disney projects recorded 'I Wan'na Be Like You' for 'Disney Mania 5'. 'DisneyMania 5' is the highest charting album of the series, peaking at #14, one position above 'DisneyMania 4'. However, it had the second lowest first week sales (behind 'DisneyRemixMania'). To date, 'DisneyMania 5' has sold a total amount of 190,104 copies. This track was one of the 6 singles released off the album.
